The Katie Lee

Jun 1998 - The Shakedown Cruse

The first summer with the Katie Lee, we decide we need to take off for a cruise to learn about the boat and the new gear we've installed. The Stories and photos in Canada

May 2000 - The Extended Cruse Starting in Canada

After a trip to "move to Texas" and visit Trinda's family, we start off again. This time to Canada, with hopes of Glacier Bay, for the summer before we head south to "Mexico and beyond."

The logs in Canada were writen as letters home. Again the photos in Canada

Aug 2000 - Out the Straits of Juan de Fuca and Turn Left

We waited for my brother Don to show up in Anacortes, WA then planning to meet Alfons and Judy in the Strait, we started the trip to San Diego. The weather was good, so we all just jept going. It started off perfect, once we turned left.

The logs from the coast were writen as letters home again. And the photos down the coast.

Nov 2000 - Down the Baja Coast San Diego to Puerta Vallarta

We waited for my laptop computer to be repaired, then replaced before we could leave for the real cruise.

The log from San Diego to Los Frailies was writen as a letter home again. From here on, all I have are e-mails and stories. And the photos along the way.

Jan 2001 - The Gold Coast to the Sea of Cortez and Back

Winter in Puerta Vallarta and south to Manzanilla, then Spring back up to the inside of the Baja. Summer in the Sea of Cortez, fall back down to PV. Sea of Cortez is "warm" in the summer, we took 3 trips across to the Baja side with the rest of the time in San Carlos, Sonora.

There were lots of e-mails that I intend to organize, but here is the log from Chacala to Mazatlan March 2001. From here on, all I have are e-mails and stories. And the photos along the way.

Jan 2002 - Spring in Puerta Vallarta to San Carlos Again

Another winter/spring in PV. This time we spent 5 months anchored off La Cruz and enjoyed friends and culture.

Oh, uh,... we rebuilt the engine too.

From here on, all I have are e-mails and stories. And the photos along the way.
